+jwlush
Is it possible to download routes that others have posted so that you may hike the same route? (Not searching for a cache, but just routes that take you through areas of interest (city/country). Perhaps with 3-4 stops along the way, where you could bring a printout along or download text explaining the points of interest? Just wondering where to go for this. Thanks JW Quote Link to comment

+tozainamboku
Wherigo is a great way to put together a walking or driving tour, but it requires a device that is capable of playing a Wherigo cartridge. Waymarking.com has a Waymark Tours category for sharing routes like this. I don't think they have a way yet of downloading the waypoints in the tour, so you have to manually enter the coordinates for other than the starting location. At some time in th future, Waymarking.com may support additional waypoints (like a multi-cache) and this category could then be used to download the route into a GPS. Quote Link to comment
+WeightMan
USA Track & Field has had people putting together America's Running Routes that are designed for joggers, but would work just as well for people who are walking. They have over a quarter million routes around the country. I know that won't work for those not in the US, but it might help those that are. Quote Link to comment
