+The Moop Along
What makes this copper one different than the Copper version you trade with? Just curious why it's called artist edition. Quote Link to comment

+Droo
Who is Kaitlyn and why is Jim having a charity auction for her? Typically most charity auctions will describe the events that call for giving a helping hand. Forgive me for not being in the know. Quote Link to comment

+Dr. Whoever
To bring everyone up to speed. In the previous post Tooey was kind enough to post a link to our original fund raising thread. Kaitlyn is a little girl who was born with CF. We did 2 different coin fund raising drives and multiple auctions to raise funds for her family to help pay for medical bills that have now eclipsed $1,000,000.00. So far the coiners and cachers have bought coins and pins and we have already given the family more than $8000.00 in total from the generosity of all of you. The auctions closing tonight will be the final ones in this drive. Currently Kaitlyn in hospitalized as she has been for the majority of this calendar year. She has about 25% lung capacity right now and her kidneys are failing. The situation could not be much worse as all of the perspective donors have failed to meet the many different criteria to be eligible and according to the attending physicians at Children's Hospital she might not make it if there is not an acceptable donor by year's end. Castleman Jim, it brings tears to our eyes knowning this could be her last year to live. She is in our hearts and prayers. Kids deserve to live a long happy life, at least the fullfill life. She is to Young to die. Thank You for everything you have done and thank you for the kind heart you have to put this coin up for Kaityln. Quote Link to comment
+hollora
So above all $$ of fund raising ~ does this concern not emphasize to all of us the importance of organ donorship! Please consider this in your license renewal, your will, your directives and as you talk with the people who are in your advance directives. Who knows, the organ you donate just may save a life!
