+Quiggle
Go to the main geocaching.com page, and choose the "Hide & Seek a Cache" link on the left. Be sure to read the guidelines (linked on that page) carefully, fill out the form completely, and provide a note to your reviewer with answers to any questions you think they may ask. That should get you started, and your reviewer can take it from there. Quote Link to comment
+Robespierre
a. read the rules (by going to the first page of gc and clicking on the "learn more" button. b. at the bottom is a "want to learn more" button- try it. c. there's a "learn how to hide" button d. find a spot which suits you AND obeys the rules (like rr tracks, etc.) e. find a real nice container which won't cause you problems. f. think more of the "style" of the hide than the contents. Muggles will give you trouble, so out-smart them at the beginning. g. Have your cache all in place before you go to "step 4" and fill out the "online form". h. go home and worry anxiously about it like the rest of us do. Quote Link to comment
+StarBrand
Read and then re-read the guidelines. Check with local fellow cachers for any local restrictions and special rules. If your cache falls nicely into all of the guidelines - just fill out the form and submit it - you should have no problems with review. Quote Link to comment
