+markandsandy
I stopped reading this after Rattrak's post. I just want to say that I know a bit of the history between the cacher that started this thread and Rattrak and will chalk it up to strictly no more than history. It is dis-heartining to see that a cacher as forthright as Rattrak is being bashed in a public forum. I know Rattrak a bit and I consider him a close friend and I know he is a very straight shooter and caches with more integrity than anyone I know. I know on many occasions, as example, He has drove to a park and waited outside the park for sun up, just to stay within guidelines. I think we should all consider the source, get the whole story and consider the subject of this thread. Rattrak, If I'm ever caching in Michigan, the first beer's on me. CCT, you're invited too. I'm just afraid I killed Vinny He hasn't posted all day. Quote Link to comment

cliocachecatcher
I have been watching this thread to see where it would go before I commented. I have noticed a growing trend. The first several replies to this thread were lite-hearted and saw the post as humorous, as I do. Then someone from one caching group came on and it turned into a bash fest. It seems to me that this group has to always make something out of nothing. I also noticed that the OP has yet to come back on and stir the pot. It seems to me that if the intent was to actually bash the person that posted the log that the OP would have come back on by now and said something. It truly is a sad day when geocaching, which is suppose to be so fun and family friendly, yet there always has to be someone who has to make it about hate. Oh-well I will be content to go back to my caching and have my fun. By the way the log was posted verbatim and it only shows that FTF numbers are obviously important to some and not to others. I am one of the others as I do not log my finds. The hunt and the scenery are my reward to geocaching. That was the reason that this sport was started, it seems that has been forgotten somewhere along the way. Quote Link to comment

Awwww... what a nice little sock puppet, and what a nice sycophantic post, sucking up to and defending the OP, while at the same time lambasting any one who dared to disagree with him/her, all the whole trying your best to sound like a disinterested and independent impartial observer! Wow! The only problems, sweetkins, are the following: The account is clearly a sock puppet for someone located in Michigan -- perhaps, I surmise, someone associated with the OP -- but obviously someone who is not willing and able to take a stand on a position using their real account name. And isn't it interesting that your account owns zero finds and zero hides, and only shows activity when you want to use it as a sock for posting here? ...Busted, dude! Busted, totally! +Glenn
Being the original cache was missing at the time of publication Brummelbear was going to move the cache. Can someone explain how you can move a cache that is missing? Quote Link to comment
Clan Riffster
That was the reason that this sport was started I thought the game was started 'cuz Dave Ulmer had a spare bucket & some trinkets? Seems the "spot" he picked, (by the side of the road), wasn't exactly scenic. Quote Link to comment
Clan Riffster
Can someone explain how you can move a cache that is missing? The way I interpreted it, they meant they were going to move the location of the cache, so it wouldn't be muggled again... Maybe? Quote Link to comment
+paleolith
I know, but you forgot to log your pick up of the Black Jeep Travel Bug I assume you mean the Black Helicopter Travel Bug. Edward Quote Link to comment

As I saw it, the OP was actually the one stirring trouble (but you knew that already, didn't you). I also saw a friend (me) come in and set the record straight (or as straight as I could not knowing the full details)..so I'll assume you're speaking of me when you say it was turned to a bash fest? Then you try to bash MiGO while still trying to act like you're not connected to this conversation other than this post...soooo funny! MiGO loves all who love to be friendly and play nice...please be friendly and play nice! Not having fun in your own little private pool my friends?? Play nice and others might play with you...if you haven't made enemies of them all! I'd like to personally invite you to our twilight event on Nov 1st...come on out and we'll have a good laugh about all this! And Glenn, the cache went missing and the owner planned to move it a small distance to prevent another loss...it's all good! Having met up with Rattrak at the GCF, we had a good laugh and some great discussion! Always fun to talk with you my friend!! Rattrak and company hit 105 caches in 24 hours before the event and STILL had time to go after more after teh event was over! I wish I had that much energy! Well done my friends, well done! I wanna go road tripping with you guys next time!! Quote Link to comment
