+raritan
Just curious........ Anyone know if there is a list of the numbers of geocaches per state and/or county for comparison. It would be fun to see where the concentrations are. I know how to look up each individually but would like to see a spreadsheet type report if it's available somewhere out there. Thanks, Raritan Quote Link to comment

Are you looking for something like this? Check out the Location Index for state by state information. Quote Link to comment

+Isonzo Karst
The original question was about caches per state, not cachers with finds. a list of the numbers of geocaches per state and/or county for comparison I don't know of any such list. You could manually generate it by using the Hide and Seek Function. http://www.geocaching.com/seek/nearest.aspx Florida, with 16403 caches California with 56135 Texas 26666 (nice number, won't last ;-) Germany 70668 France 6981 Argentina 77 Quote Link to comment

Well not quite AWSOME. First off to be listed you need to have 200 or more finds. You also need to have found on of the caches that are tracked for numbers. It is possible to have more than 200 finds and not be listed if you haven't found one of the tracking caches. Jim Quote Link to comment

+jcar
And I'm guilty of reading too fast, saw that word numbers and state and my brain registered geocachers not geocaches. Back to the original question, none that I'm aware of. Quote Link to comment
+raritan
Thanks jcar for the list of geocachers. Very interesting stuff there. But it looks like I'll have to compile my own list of what I was after. Thanks for all the responses. Quote Link to comment
