+Lattedray
Help!!! Found TBZ2E9 "Nationalpark Harz" this a.m. It is a geocoin with a trackable number and a page when you search on the trackable number. When I go to log the find ..."picked up..." and enter the TB number, I get an error message that the TB number is not a match. I've tried upper, lower and upper/lower case, copy and paste from its page... just about everything and I can't get it to register. Just want to log this puppy as picked up and move it on to another national park -- any suggestions!? Thanks Lattedray Quote Link to comment
+River Cacher
You may have a number or letter that is hard to read. Try all close looking numbers or letters and email the owner if needed to help you. I can not read the logs to see if there is issues. Good Luck Edited September 28, 2008 by River Cacher Quote Link to comment
Maine Family
It might be a zero rather than an o. That is the most common. Quote Link to comment
+Droo
Check 0s for Os, 1s for Is, 8s for Bs, 2s for Zs, Ss for 5s, even 5s and 6s can look alike if the number is small enough. Good luck. A magnifying glass comes in handy or even a digital camera... take a picture using the Macro setting (looks like a flower) then zoom in to read the tracking number. Quote Link to comment
+The Klever Boys
Sorry for asking, but you are entering the number engraved on the coin (in this case, the one starting with "RG"), rather than the TB number (TBZ2E9) aren't you? Russ Quote Link to comment
+earthrooster
I was going to ask that too. Be sure you're entering the number engraved on the coin Quote Link to comment
+wutzebear
The tracking number starts with a RG, like with all of the "Regions of Germany"-coins. Quote Link to comment
