+FireDoug Posted September 25, 2008 Posted September 25, 2008 I have a 60Csx and have been looking for Garmin specific website? Quote
+Team Chinook Posted September 25, 2008 Posted September 25, 2008 wouldn't that be nice? Garmin doesn't have one there are some additional GPS sites that have forums, but they're not as active as this one. The 60Csx is just about the most popular Garmin for caching, so if you ask your questions in GPS and Techology they will likely get answered. Quote
MtnHermit Posted September 25, 2008 Posted September 25, 2008 Here's a Garmin Specific Forum, but the traffic here and level of expertise will likely match or exceed anything else. Of course YMMV. Quote
MtnHermit Posted September 25, 2008 Posted September 25, 2008 (edited) Even checked the post in another tab, still a double post. Talk about lack of server capacity. Edited September 25, 2008 by MtnHermit Quote
+Tequila Posted September 25, 2008 Posted September 25, 2008 Yahoo Groups has a pretty active forum for the GPS60. Some good advice there too. Quote
+trainlove Posted September 25, 2008 Posted September 25, 2008 Even checked the post in another tab, still a double post. Talk about lack of server capacity. http://forums.Groundspeak.com/GC/index.php?showtopic=203418 shows how you can avoid the issue you see. As for Garmin specific groups. Yes, Yahoo has many great usergroups. What Garmin in particular? Or perhaps Garmin Map software? Or perhaps how to put maps on your Garmin without having to buy the Garmin MapSource software. All are covered somewhere in a user group over there. Magellan too, and those groups get more traffic, LOL. Quote
robertlipe Posted September 25, 2008 Posted September 25, 2008 The concentration of knowledge/helpfulness for that model in this group is very high. The yahoogroups listed in the FAQ pinned at the top of this group are very strong for those models, too. (Stronger in some areas.) Quote
+JSWilson64 Posted September 26, 2008 Posted September 26, 2008 I thought this was the Garmin-specific forum... Quote
