+ArtieD
Hello... I am aware of benchmarks and have seen a few from time to time, but I really don't actively hunt them to speak of. Anyway, while on vacation a couple weeks ago with the family we found this strange benchmark-type object embedded in the floor of an observation point at the Pea Ridge National Military Park in northern Arkansas. Can anyone tell us what it is? Thanks. Quote Link to comment
+m&h
This mark does not appear to be in the NGS database, so we would suspect that it's one of several marks placed by the Park Service as aids to boundary location or park layout. The stamping "PR 6" makes it tempting to think there are at least five others. Cheers, Quote Link to comment
