+jonnos hunters
Sorry if this has been answered already. I am trying to create a new puzzle cache. Without giving too much away it involves the co-ordinates being symbols but when I paste it from Microsoft Word to the cache listing page it changes the format to something that looks completely different Please help Quote Link to comment
+trainlove
More info is required for a real answer. What symbols? Different fonts? Not all computers will have those fonts. HTML entities? That should work. Extended ASCII characters like ® © ™ ¢ those should work... Quote Link to comment
Zombie Woof
It sounds as if you need to make an image file. There are several ways to go about this. Quote Link to comment

+niraD
If you want something like this puzzle cache, then you'll need to create an image of the symbols and display the image on the cache page. PS: Not all of us have access to MS Word, MS Windows, or MS fonts. Quote Link to comment

Try using the character map application. It will show you what keystrokes to use for characters not on your keyboard. Like alt0176 will give you a degree symbol. ° Quote Link to comment
+Lasagna
You can't post non-standard font sets into an HTML page and get consistent results. The easiest way to do this, as mentioned above, is to post the symbol sequence as an image file in the writeup. One way: Use your favorite method for capturing a bitmap of your screen (shift print screen on xp) and then paste that into the paint program. You can trim down the image from there. +Pat in Louisiana
I have used an old program, Micrographics Picture Publisher to edit and it works great. Quote Link to comment
