+Team Benhamtroll
Well, I decided to go with a Nuvi 200W for my new unit, mainly due to the way we tend to geocache, and the multipurpose nature of it. Now my question is, what kind of accessories can I get for it. What I'd really like to find are: A waterproof cover, preferrably fitted with a clear plastic panel over the face. A bike mount that works with the 200W. The one I found is only for the standard screens, not the wide screens. Quote Link to comment
xxgg
Plastic Zip Bag works well as water proof. Yes there are bike mounts. Hope it's battery life is long enough for you. Edited July 20, 2008 by xxgg Quote Link to comment
Motorcycle_Mama
Check out RAM Mounts. http://www.cyclegadgets.com/Products/RAM/r...?prod=RAM-NUV2W Quote Link to comment
+storm180
You might want one of these too. http://store.sundancesolar.com/soposochfori.html Since your battery will probably only last 2-4 hours depending on settings. Quote Link to comment
+Team Benhamtroll
Thanks, on both the Solio and the Ram mounts. I will probably pick up both. I'm actually contemplating making a bag that will provide waterproofing and shock protection while still making the unit usable in the field. We'll see what comes of that . . . Quote Link to comment
Motorcycle_Mama
On the Cycle Gadgets site if you look under the Roady XT page (satellite radio), you will see a cover with a clear front that goes over the Roady. I would think that it would fit the nuvi as well. It's not 100% waterproof but should give you time to pull over and stow it if needed. Quote Link to comment

Okay, I was digging around on the Ram Mounts site and found the Aqua Box. Has anyone used this? Is it worth the cost? Quote Link to comment
