+GeoRioux
Any suggestions on cheapest handheld out there for paperless Geo Caching? Quote Link to comment
+sodajerk
I have a Palm IIIx. Holds hundreds of caches, more than I can find in a day. It does connect with a serial port on my computer. Some new computers do not have a serial port. Look on e-bay, also goodwill (or other charity stores) sometimes have some. Ask around work and friends to see if they have an old one they are not using. Also the Garage Sale Form has some for sale. Quote Link to comment
MtnHermit
I would think a Nuvi, can be had for $99 on sale, and theirs a thread on this forum ie paperless caching. Quote Link to comment
+SYOTT
If you have an iPod already and GSAK... you don't need anything else Quote Link to comment
+DVader68
I've got the Colorado 400T, and really enjoy the paperless function. It's easy enough that my wife can use it. I have to admit though it's a little salty. I have a buddy that owns a Magellan Explorist 210 and is able to work caches sans paper. I don't know how though. The way he explained it to me sounded a little like rocket science. Edited July 9, 2008 by DVader68 Quote Link to comment
+ccleland1219
If you have an iPod already and GSAK... you don't need anything else I'm totally clueless, but figuring things out along the way. I, too, am looking to go towards paperless caching. What kind of ipod can you do it with and can you do it with a Mac computer? Sorry if my questions sound silly. I'm trying!! Quote Link to comment
