+crosschk
I got the Car Kit from garmin and it came with a disk that looks like it is supposed to stick to something. But what does it stick to? the window? the dash? Has anyone used this thing? I bought two kits and neither one had directions. It was pretty self explanatory, except for this thing. I thought about leaving it in a cache Quote Link to comment
+Warriorrider
The disc is for your dash. Some states like California do not allow windshield mounts. Quote Link to comment

+RonFisk
If you use the disk be sure you clean the dash well to get any silicone such as Armoral off before you stick it down. You will need to use some type of solvent as soap and water won't do the trick. I won't recommend anything as some solvents can damage your dash. Also don't put in on or between you and an airbag... +jefro
What does the car adapter look like for the Colorado series? I have the vehicle adapter for the 60csx - Just wondering if it's compatable. Quote Link to comment

I have mine on a circular sand bag that has a flat disc in the middle that to suction cup attaches to. Sits nicely on my console and tilts well to read/manipulate.
