Thanks for your help.. Quote
+ventura_kids Posted April 28, 2008 Posted April 28, 2008 If you use FIND GEOCACHE when you select the cache, you will get the FOUND button. If you use FIND WAYPOINT when you select the cache, you won't see that button. Quote

+campingirl58 Posted April 28, 2008 Author Posted April 28, 2008 No that can't be it because I have never figured out how to use the geocache one, when i download them they go to waypoints. So i always use find waypoints, and sometimes I get the Found it and sometimes I don't Quote
+Sputnik 57 Posted April 28, 2008 Posted April 28, 2008 My bet is that you are using geocaching mode and don't know it. If the waypoint has a closed treasure chest as the symbol, you should get the Found It button. If it doesn't, you wont. Quote
+campingirl58 Posted April 28, 2008 Author Posted April 28, 2008 it does have the closed treasure chest and I sometimes have to open it manually before i will get the found it button ... Quote
+LandRover Posted April 28, 2008 Posted April 28, 2008 You won't get the found button if routing by road , you have to choose the offroad option when navigating to the cache. Quote

+Team DEMP Posted April 29, 2008 Posted April 29, 2008 My guess, like the last poster stated, is that you're not doing a find in geocache or Off Road mode. If you click Find, select Waypoint and then select a cache that isn't found, are you prompted to navigate via Follow Road or Off Road? If so, select Off Road and you should get the Found / Note buttons. If you aren't prompted, you should go to the Setup page and select Routing and then in the Guidance Method, select Prompt. What I typically do is do a Follow Road find to the cache and when either I'm getting ready to park or parked and going to the cache, I click Find again, select the cache and then select Off Road. I then get the compass screen with the Found button. Quote
+campingirl58 Posted April 29, 2008 Author Posted April 29, 2008 That could be the problem ... thanks for all your help .. I will check it out when I am out next ... thanks again .... Quote
