My guess, like the last poster stated, is that you're not doing a find in geocache or Off Road mode.

 

If you click Find, select Waypoint and then select a cache that isn't found, are you prompted to navigate via Follow Road or Off Road? If so, select Off Road and you should get the Found / Note buttons.

 

If you aren't prompted, you should go to the Setup page and select Routing and then in the Guidance Method, select Prompt.

 

What I typically do is do a Follow Road find to the cache and when either I'm getting ready to park or parked and going to the cache, I click Find again, select the cache and then select Off Road. I then get the compass screen with the Found button.
