cachegirlz Posted April 20, 2008 Posted April 20, 2008 I'm not exactly a newbie, but I have an etiquette question I haven't seen on the boards before. It's probably there but I haven't found it yet. I was organizing and cleaning up my caching stuff and found some old printouts from several caches we found months ago but I forgot to log. Is is appropriate to go ahead and log them now? I don't care about my numbers, but when I do a zipcode search, I only want to see caches we have found. Obviously, if I've forgotten to log some, it will throw off my search. Is there any problem with doing this? Quote

Just put a note in your log that you are logging the cache late. Quote
+SeventhSon Posted April 20, 2008 Posted April 20, 2008 If it were me, and I knew the date I found the cache, I would mark the log as that date. Quote

It might also be a good idea to mention that you're backlogging so the owner knows what's up. Quote
