Logging Finds Late

I'm not exactly a newbie, but I have an etiquette question I haven't seen on the boards before. It's probably there but I haven't found it yet. I was organizing and cleaning up my caching stuff and found some old printouts from several caches we found months ago but I forgot to log. Is is appropriate to go ahead and log them now? I don't care about my numbers, but when I do a zipcode search, I only want to see caches we have found. Obviously, if I've forgotten to log some, it will throw off my search. Is there any problem with doing this?

I'd go ahead and log those finds. Just put a note in your log that you are logging the cache late.

If it were me, and I knew the date I found the cache, I would mark the log as that date.

Yep, most owners would get that you are just now back-logging it.

Hey, owners love seeing their caches logged. Better late than never.

I would....but I would make use the date that I found it (some people seem to forget to do this).

I agree, use the correct date, or as close to it as you can remember. It might also be a good idea to mention that you're backlogging so the owner knows what's up.
