+CrazyL200 Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 (edited) Anybody got any experience of the Satmap Active 10? I've been led to believe you have to re-buy all your Memory Map maps to run on it and they wont let on what platform it runs on However, despite that, it seems like a good piece of kit. edit to sort link!! edit to add: found it works on MS Windows CE 5.0 - so shouldn't Mem Map V5 run on it? +Gralorn Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 At that price, surely as well to buy a Mio P550 and use Memory Map, giving one the added bonus of putting on Tom Tom , Cachemate and other useful software as well. Quote
+keehotee Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 Lots of previous mmmmm's and ahhhh's on it already here and here Quote

Pretty much came to that conclusion shortly after my post. But I like the "ruggedised" idea. Quote
+razor908 Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 (edited) I must admit I have a satmap - i find it ok! I also have a geko which i sometimes use - The Satmap eats batteries though. I mainly got it because I do alot of mountain biking and its great for that. If i had it just for caching I think I might be a bit diappointed (at the price)???? Just my thoughts Edited March 17, 2008 by razor908 Quote
