Mapping Trackables?

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know of any application, utility, or addon to Google Earth or something that can actually generate a track to map out where trackable items have visited? It would be totally cool to have a flat map of the world and have a track plotted out where a trackable item has been.

Just dreaming... but thought I'd ask ;)

There's a link, 'View In Google Earth', on pages for trackables. Sounds like that's what you are looking for.

Never noticed that before but when I click on it, it launches Google Earth and then I get a message that states :

Open of the file "<long file name here>" failed. Parse error at line 12, column 38: not well-formed (Invalid token)

Does this work for you???

This works for me, but sounds like maybe there is something that Google Earth doesn't like about one of the entries... Try it on another trackable maybe and if you keep getting it maybe make sure that Google Earth is up to date, etc. No idea if that helps, but that's probably what I'd do first.

What's the trackable in question?
