Lonely Caches

The Michigan Geocaching Organization is thinking of starting up a Lonely Caches game. I have heard some other states already do this.

 

Is there any way to have a setting in the PQ's allow you to find caches not found within X number of days, being 30, or 60, or 90 or even you put your own # of days in (that would be even better).

 

I know many might not use it, but another option would be great. Not sure what kind of programming would be needed, I know there is a setting for caches not found.

Even if there were, it would be a TOU violation for anyone to share that PQ data. Each person involved in Lonely Caches would need to generate their own list.

You can do that filtering in GSAK. Assuming you've been PQing the same set of caches over time (I have some that I've probably been PQing weekly for 3+ years) you could get a set that haven't been found in a while.

Contact Team Deejay in Wisconsin, they'll get you started down the right path. Our lonely cache game started Jan 1st and they'd done an outstanding job of monitoring the reports and getting the game off to a great start in this state.

Wow! Yesterday I tried to create a Pocket Querie for caches that have not been found since xx days :-D

But it's not possible to choose that :-(

Its not a TOU violation if you share the information via a bookmark list. The PQ would make it much easier to make the bookmark list. Right now, you have to download every cache in the state and then run a GSAK filter. This takes a lot of queries.
