sore feet & bad knees
How does the TB work that is a magnet on your car? Quote Link to comment
Trucker Lee
Folks that see it get to log a "discovered" on it. Unfortunately, unless you convert your garage into a cache, you can't leave it in one. Quote Link to comment
vw_k
You could also "dip" the car TB into drive by caches to record the mileage you've done in the car for caching, but technically the TB never went into a cache, unless you can fit your car into a 35mm film canister! Quote Link to comment

vw_k
There's a guy on here that makes magnets/window clings with TB numbers and logos on, I'm sure a search would bring the thread up. You could also just attatch a TB dog tag to your car, maybe displayed in the window somewhere. Quote Link to comment
Lakeshore Geocachers
Our Jeep Wrangler is a TB...we are known in this area as the "yellow Jeep folks"...I just hang the TB tag from the windshield mount for the GPS. We "drop and pick up" at every cache we find, it gives you a record of distance/location/dates for all of your caches. It has been "discovered" a lot of times, has been stolen once...before they added the "grabbed from" option, so I had to wait till the other cacher dropped it to grab it back...It never stops amusing other cachers to be able to "discover" the full sized yellow Jeep TB. +BlueDeuce
How do you get the magnet? You can get one here: http://www.onestopcacheshop.com/oscsdec/ I've had one since Spring and it's held up just fine. You can get the metal dogtag along with the magnet (and this is just how I do things) and put the tag on your keychain. So, then you carry your keys with you to the cache and can log it in and out. I figure it's one better chance of recovering my car keys should I ever lose them. Edited December 31, 2007 by BlueDeuce Quote Link to comment
Jeep_Dog
The ULTIMATE vehicle TB that is owned by friend Gimli - Bummer. When I encountered this at the Second Annual Combat Cacher's Reunion, I forgot to get the number to enter a "discovered" log. I generally do not "discover" TBs or coins, but this one would have been the exception. Quote Link to comment
