Hi

Bought the GSAK software and is importing my caches into it, but the GPX file only has the latest 20 logs in it. Is there a way to get older ones too?

It's not so many so I don't think it chould be a problem.

I don't know if I'm right, but this macroscript for gsak fetches one page from geocaching.com for every cache in the database to retrieve the logs? wich for a single pocket query is usally 500 pages?

My thought is that if a couple of people use this script regulary, this will end up in almost a constant DDoS to the server...

And a lot of people complains about the slow page... I can't se any connection... (not just this script I guess)

I had only 38 logs in one cache so I could have edited the GPX file myself, but it was easier this way. Don't think the 18 extra logs did any harm in my case. Or???

I wouldn't recommend that you or anyone else uses that macro until TPTB weigh in on the issue. To me, it seams like a clear violation of GC.com's ToS. I did a quick scan of both threads on GSAK's site and couldn't find a mention of that process actually being approved by TPTB. I'd hate to see any of us booted because of something that was suggested on another site.

To sbell - I hate ?

Hope you will get better. Sorry for your mental health. Good luck.

You misunderstand. "I'd hate to see any of us booted" is idiomatic English for "it would make me unhappy if any of us were booted."
