Taiwan geocachers

8 posts in this topic

If there are any geocachers in Taipei wishing to meet up and maybe swap travel bugs, I'll be visiting 14-17 October, from Australia.

Thank you to all the geocachers in the Taipei region for the caches and to Haima for showing me around. I had a great time visiting Taiwan and look forward to visiting again in the future.

This is an old thread, so I'm not sure if anyone is still following it, but I was wondering if any Geocachers in Taiwan would be interested in organizing a CITO (Cache In Trash Out) event in Taiwan?

Very old thread, but I'm bumping it because it seems geocaching is really starting to pick up steam here in Taiwan. I just placed my first cache here in Taoyuan (about 30 minutes south of Taipei), and plan to hide and find many more this summer. Let me know if you're visiting Taiwan or a resident here and would like to hit the hills for some geocaching. B)

Hi onionsack,

I got a notification about your new cache and hope to look for it soon. I live in Taoyuan and have been obsessed with this hobby for about a year and a half. I'm really excited to see the number of geocaches and players increasing in Taiwan. Now if only we could get a country souvenir!

You probably know there's an event in Taipei next week; perhaps I'll see you there.

I did NOT know there was an event in Taipei next week, but I will definitely look into it. Thanks for the heads up! :)
