AKABZZ
Hello Fellow Geocachers!!! I have an idea that I need some brainstorming for. I would like to foster enthusiasm for geocaching with my daughter and her friends. We are having a sleepover party for her 10th birthday and my husband and I are going to hide some geocaches for the party and then open them up for everyone to enjoy. I need some cute ideas for a small series (five maybe). Any ideas??? I am sure this has been done before, but not by us! Thanks in advance. AKABZZ !!! Quote Link to comment
+wimseyguy
You could let them decorate the containers the night before, and then hide them in the yard while they sleep. Does your daughter have a favorite TV Show/movie or band or something? Each cache could represent a character, or a band or cast member. Or perhaps each one could represent a different animal? +Degai
You could hide different items for each cache and make them like a party favor for the girls. If you are having a themed party, you could obviously tie what's inside the caches to the theme of the party. You could put lip gloss, fingernail polish, girlie items in one, items that light up in another, special cds that you have made up with your daughter's favorite songs, etc. Just my 2 cents . . . Good luck with the party. I am having a pirate party for my son's birthday, but next year, when he is in 5th grade, I, too, want to have a geocaching party. Maybe I'll get some ideas from the forums.
