Premium Members jäsenyys viipyy?

Maksoin kokeeksi kuukauden Premium Members jäsenyysen viikko sitten Paypalilla. Sain postiini "S" luvun, mutta siihen jäi. Numero ei kelpaa, kun yritän rekistöröityä sillä. Tulee vain ilmoitus:

 

If you have paid by eCheck, it can take 4-6 days before your payment clears. When we receive a message from PayPal we will notify you that your subscription is ready. This membership does not exist.

 

Onko muilla kokemuksia asiasta?

Kyllä, ongelma on minulle tuttu jo muutaman vuoden takaa. Lähetäpä mailia osoitteeseen contact@Groundspeak.com (muistaakseni) ja kerro ongelmasi. He aktivoivat sitten jäsenyytesi manuaalisesti.

 

Minulta löytyisi varmaan sähköpostista keskustelua Groundspeakin kanssa. Ehkä kaivan sen esille jossain vaiheessa. Lyhyesti sanottuna kertoivat että PayPalilla on joku ongelma kansainvälisten maksujen käsittelyssä, eikä PayPal ole sitä pyynnöitä huolimatta korjannut.

 

Nykyisin on mahdollista maksaa jäsenmaksu luottokortilla suoraan Groundspeakille. Olen siirtynyt käyttämään sitä.

namely, PayPal seems to have some trouble processing international orders

and has not fixed the issue yet. I'm sorry for the inconvenience but I'm

afraid I have no control over the way their site works.

 

Not a problem, though, since I went ahead and manually renewed your

membership for another year. Your new account expiration date is July 8th,

2006. If you choose to renew next year I suppose we may have the same

issue. But I will be here then to help set your account straight. I

apologize for the trouble. We really thank you for your continued support

of the site!

Hi,

 

I've paid $30 via PayPal on June 9th, using MasterCard. PayPal sent

subscription number S-xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx to me (mail below). When I try to

enter this number on page http://www.geocaching.com/subscribe/, the answer

is:

 

"If you have paid by eCheck, it can take 4-6 days before your payment

clears. When we receive a message from PayPal we will notify you that your

subscription is ready. This membership does not exist."

 

Can you activate the membership for me, or give some guidance? I've also

checked your Knowledge Base, but can't find advice to this problem.

 

Just to let you know, I had a similar problem one year ago. Then I tried

to activate a monthly renewing membership. However, because of some mistake I

got the whole year membership by paying only $3. I informed you about this,

and Xxxx replied that he'll let me keep the year membership (which was very

nicely done). So I cancelled the monthly payments from PayPal. I don't know

whether this incident has something to do with my renewing problems now.

Itse maksoin muutama viikko sitten vuoden Premium -jäsenyyden Paypalin kautta ja kaikki sujui aivan OK. Jäsenyyden aktivointiprosessi oli ohi muistaakseni vain puoli tuntia maksun jälkeen.

Käytin törkeesti hyväkseni kirjettäsi ja leikkaa/liimasin siitä oman version.

Vähän siinä mielessä tuon kirjeen laitoinkin, että siinä on valmista tekstiä juuri tähän asiaan. Saa sillä ainakin ongelmansa kerrottua. Ilmeisesti ovat hahmottaneet mitä yritän selittää...

 

Itse maksoin muutama viikko sitten vuoden Premium -jäsenyyden Paypalin kautta ja kaikki sujui aivan OK. Jäsenyyden aktivointiprosessi oli ohi muistaakseni vain puoli tuntia maksun jälkeen.

Juu, eipä ole tietoa mikä ongelma tarkalleen PayPalilla mun tapauksessani on ollut. Ehkä vaikeuksia on vain tiettyjen luottokorttien kanssa tai jotain. Muistaakseni olen maksanut ainakin GSAK:in rekisteröinnin PayPalin kautta samalla kortilla, eikä siinä ollut ongelmia.

 

Muuten, kysymys on siitä että PayPalilta ei välity tietoa maksusta Groundspeakille. Se käy selville viime vuonna tulleesta vastauksesta. Piti maksaa jo viime vuonna suoraan luottokortilla, mutten muistanut keskeyttää automaattisesti uusiutuvia maksuja PayPalista ajoissa.
