What you're describing is how cache pages look when the user is not logged in. Check the upper right corner of the cache page. Does it say "You are logged in as..." or does it say "You are not logged in?" Link to comment

(this is what I saw when my accound was recently invalidated...see this thread formore info) Link to comment
