You can dl LOC files from Geocaching.com, join them together with EasyGPS Companion program, convert the final LOC file with GPSBabel Gui to TomTom OV2, write it to the Map folder.

I have a TomTom one and just started with Geocaching. I want to know how to download waypoints to my tomtom and if there is any special software that I need to do this.

Your TomTom should either come with software or downloadable software from TomTom to let you load custom Points of Interest. Check out tomtomforums.com

The easiest way is to load a pocket query from geocaching.com into gsak (freeware) and do file>export>tomtom poi file. Then copy the poi file into the TomToms map folder. All of the caches will shop up as POIs and you can have a sound play every time you get within a specified range. I have mine set to play the bugle at 200 yards.
