+RCDispatchersx2
I just got a cache published and when I was proofing it for a final time, I noticed it typoed the cords now it won't let me fix them. It gives the error * Coordinate Errors, Help?!!! It is off by a 1/2 mile or more. Quote Link to comment
+BlueDeuce
The system won't let you correct the coords over a set distance. Just contact your local reviewer and they'll help you out. edit you/your Edited August 8, 2007 by BlueDeuce Quote Link to comment
+Harry Dolphin
Changing coordinates more than 528 feet requires intervention by the reviewer. You should disable it, and very kindly (and perhaps grovelling a bit might not hurt) ask your reviewer's help. Quote Link to comment

Once I was ready to publish I couldn't update them! Quote Link to comment
+RCDispatchersx2
Thanks, didn't realize couldn't correct them over a set distance like that. I have disabled it and will contact the reviewer. Quote Link to comment

Once I was ready to publish I couldn't update them! Reminds me of the time I was helping my sister in Maine with a cache page. Well, I'm used to typing N40º. She's at N43°. Duh! While we were still working on the page, she got an e-mail from her reviewer mentioning that she might want to check her coords. The ones listed were far out at sea. (Oh. Only a few hundred miles!) But the page hadn't been published, so it was no problem to correct the coords. Quote Link to comment

+RCDispatchersx2
Thanks for sharing it at least made me realise I am not the only one that can make a mistake. The page is done and up and running, published and waiting on it's FTF, I am excited about this one as it is a challenge and looking forward to what people have to say about it. Thanks again for the help. Quote Link to comment
