+denim_go
Just new in Yellowknife and looking at the amount of caches, It looks grim. As I drive around the city and the surrounding I see potential cache sites. Are there any cacher from the area outhere? I think we should organize an event to boost the cache amount and give us new cache to look for. Cheers Denim_go Quote Link to comment

+Knight2000
Maybe some of those truckers i see on TV should put some along that ice road. (Or is that a different Yellowknife?) Quote Link to comment

+shearzone
I guess there is no taker not everyone reads the forums. Try contacting those who have hidden geocaches in and around YK through their cache listing. Quote Link to comment
+Juicepig
Post an event and they will come... If they don't, just have a beer by yourself, and claim a find Quote Link to comment
+The red-haired witch
If you want to do an event and boost the number of caches in your area, you might want to take some inspiration from the famous "Go and Get Em" events. For example : GAG 9 These events certainly worked for the Ottawa area, adding many nice caches to hunt. Quote Link to comment
water_robyn
I'm sure if you organize something people will come. And yea I'm pretty sure many people don't read the Groundspeak forums as this is the first time I've logged on all year!! Anyway - if you are looking for more geocaches.....by the end of this week I should have a second multicache (way easier this time) up and running and then next weekend I'll have a quick cache that will require a canoe/etc. to get to but is so close you could actually potentially swim across.....lol. Oh and to the person commenting about making a geocache on the iceroads....they actually melt in the spring.....lol Quote Link to comment
