+TexasGringo
For the short description, I have HTML pointing to a JPEG file on my server and the HTML box checked on the geocaching cache page...that works just fine. For the long description I have plain text that I typed in...but whenever you save it and go look at it...it bunches everything up into 1 long sentence. So if I typed 2 lines: Hello there I am Guru4Hire After saving, the long description displays everything in 1 line: Hello there I am Guru4Hire Can you not mix HTML in 1 box and Text in the other box? Whats Up? Link to comment
+alexrudd
Try using <br> for line breaks. If that works, both descriptions use HTML. I think this is the case; IIRC it says "[x] The descriptions below are in HTML" Link to comment
+StarBrand
Use <br> between lines or <p></p> around paragraphs. Yes both will be HTML. Link to comment
+Knight2000
So far we only have 3 caches but i have skipped the short description completely. The pages seem fine. What is the point? Am i doing these wrong? Link to comment

Am i doing these wrong? Short discription should include general details about terrain, the container and important facts about access (hours, parking etc) - a quick read on the cache. Long is for everything else. Anyway - that has always been my understanding. See all my cache pages for examples. Link to comment
+TexasGringo
I used DreamWeaver to create the HTML of the long description....and pasted in the <Body> </Body>....that seems to work. Thanks For The Replies. Link to comment
