Is this an innapropriate theme for a cache?

I had this idea of placing a cache arround Queen's Park in Toronto to commemorate the Marijuana March of Toronto in 2007, maybe like a nano in a small dime bag (unused no drugs of course). A themed title and an explanation of the fight for legalization. I simply dont know if this would be accepted by the caching community.

I have the feeling that it wouldn't be, I probably wouldn't even place it but I'm just curious what the community would think?

A cache that highlights a historical event near where the event was held isn't so much an agenda as it is histroical and more than fair. The dime bags would put it over the top. IT's enough to highlight the history in the cache description.

I would lose the dime bag, but see no problem accounting an historical event. Keep to the facts. Anyone that has a problem with history would be pushing their own agenda in my opinion.

I have no problem with History, but May3rd - May9th of this month is kind of recent and a current political issue more then a historical event.

Thanks it was along the lines of what I was thinking, I wont place it, I may however place a micro in the area and mention the event. I think that would be fine.
