+The HERB5
Will be riding down through France in a couple of weeks. Was going to stop at Limoge on the way, but the caches are a bit scarce. Next decent sized town north was Poitiers. A few close by caches and one called Futuroscope Always fancied visiting here, but is it worth it ? And if so, how long to do it justice ? Edgemaster
I remember a unit that partly covered that place in one of my french textbooks, I can't remember much about it except people saying 'its a good place to visit' in french Quote Link to comment

Plan to spend all day in there... Go for first open doors and stay until the fantastic sound and light lazer show at dusk.... not to be missed There will be enough to do all day... Food is good not like other French theme parks Word of recomendation.... when you go in head straight for the far side of the park and work towards the gate, that way all day you are going against the flow of people and the queues will be much shorter !!! There are some great shows, all TV and film orientated..... 3D, 360 degree, cinema screens below you on the floor.. everything imaginable, and more... p.s. go and have a play in the water maze !!! Jets of water straight out of the floor that keep changing the passages... take some spare clothes.. or make sure its a hot day !!! YOU WILL GET WET ! Its quite expensive from memory... maybe prebook from England Quote Link to comment
NickPick
I went there when it first opened (wow, it was about 15 years ago!), and had a really great day out. I was very impressed by the cinema screens - Imax, 360 degrees and the flying carpet were my favorites. The water maze was one of my memories too. Quote Link to comment
