Old Magellan user here. I can't seem to figure out how to download gpx files from gc.com onto my GPSMap 60C. Can anyone give me some guidance.

Which part are you having problems with? Getting the GPX file, or sending the data to your GPS?

Sorry I jumped the gun a little bit. I just figured it out. By going to the Garmin website, and using MyGarmin you access the GC area and download.

OK I am going to revive this question. I found where you can download GC from the Garmin website, but I also found out that it does not show all of them. My question was how do I load a gpx file onto my GPS.

do you have mapsource? with the latest version you can open GPX files in mapsource and send directly to the gpsr.

Did you load the drivers to your GPS from the CD that came with it?

 

Instead of Mapsource you might want to try this free download: EasyGPS

Since you are a Premium Member, you can use pocket queries. You can create them here.

 

EasyGPS is one of the choices of software available, and it is very easy, however many people use GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife) because it can filter, slice, and dice the Pocket Query data. Using it, you can Export data for your Mapsource maps and send the waypoints to your GPSr, once the USB driver is installed.

I would like to thank everyone for all your suggestions. I ended up using the GSAK, and all appears to be operating well.
