+Miragee
I have the City Navigator maps for my Vista C and they work great. You might find a good deal by purchasing the maps in a combination package along with the beanbag automount and cigarette-lighter adapter, which are handy to have. Quote Link to comment

+Batman & Cat woman
Thanks. I had looked at City Navigator and it seemed the way to go, but I decided it was best to confirm this with actual users of the product. Any thoughts on what size SDcard I should get to accommodate uploading maps to the Venture Cx? Quote Link to comment
+Miragee
How much traveling do you do? For most of my caching, the 24 MB on my Vista C are adequate. However, the cards are so inexpensive now, you could get a large card and load all the maps it will hold, just in case you get a chance to hit the road . . . Quote Link to comment

Any thoughts on what size SDcard I should get to accommodate uploading maps to the Venture Cx? You can load the entire CN v8 (1.6gb) on a 2 gig card with plenty of room left over. I also think the 2gb is the pricing sweet spot right now. Just don't get the "Ultra" version, they don't work (unless that has been fixed in a firmware upgrade). Quote Link to comment

Which software should I buy? Thanks, Batman In that I already had City Navigator on my Garmin Streetpilot i3 I was able to download City Navigator (Oregon, Washington, and California) to my Venture CX at no charge. City Navigator is a very nice feature to have on the CX. Quote Link to comment
