+Cache_advance
I am using GSAK to create waypoints for a class project, and I want to know if it is possible to create individual GPX files for those waypoints that my students can download before class as opposed to doing it manually during class time. I have created a series of waypoints in a "walking tour" and they appear in my GSAK program, but I don't know how/if I can isolate one waypoint and create a GPX for it. Any ideas? Are you trying to break out a .gpx with a collection of waypoints into a series of .gpx files, each with one point in it? If so, perhaps someone could write a GSAK macro for it. Or you could cut/paste the waypoints into individual files using EasyGPS or similar. Or, if you are a script geek like me, you could either parse the .gpx file directly, or convert the gpx to single-line format like POI for easier hacking, seperate into seperate files, then reconvert back to gpx. If not, pls provide more information so we can better understand what you want to accomplish. Quote Link to comment
-Oz-
if you're using garmin's mapsource program just open the gpx file, delete the waypoints you don't want and then resave it as a gpx file. On the other hand just like fratermus i have written scripts to parse a lot of information into and out of GPX files. Quote Link to comment
+webscouter.
You can use the GSAK filter to show just one point at a time and then export to a GPX. Quote Link to comment

You can do this with User Flagsbut first make sure the User Flag column is selected for display. Also see 8. How do I select multiple rows to perform some action on a group of rows (eg delete a group of waypoints)? in the FAQ. Quote Link to comment
