+Droo
Somebody may have grabbed it virtually after finding the tracking # in a cache find log. Edited March 23, 2007 by Droo Quote Link to comment
+chaosmanor
Another possibility is that the thing *is* in your inventory, but it hadn't shown up yet. There are several different servers (so I am told) that handle different aspects of the Groundspeak's business. Travelers are handled on a different one than cache listings, apparently. Many is the time when we've dropped or retrieved a traveler, but it has taken from a few minutes to over an hour for it to show up in the proper place. But Droo makes a valid point, as well. This is one reason why the ID numbers should never be photographed or put in a log. What you should do is put the # in the Traveler search bar, and see where it shows up as being. If you have it in hand, and it shows up as being somewhere else, just take it back Quote Link to comment
Cydriver
Sometimes travel bug(coin) pages are slow in updating. It shows in your inventory, but also still shows as being in the cache. It will probably update in the next 24 hours. Quote Link to comment
+BlueDeuce
You're going to have to do another retrieve on it, this happens from time to time. Fortunately not that often. After you get it retrieve you can delete the first attempt log. (Assuming the second works) Quote Link to comment
