+ADKSherpa Posted February 25, 2007 Posted February 25, 2007 I was out caching a few times this week and up here in the northeast we have approx. 3 feet of snow from last weeks storm. It seems like I couldnt get a good bearing on annything! It had a good accuracy and everything but It was just all messed up. I think the snow may have something to do with it but I am not sure. What do you think? Thanks. Quote
+DustyWalker Posted February 25, 2007 Posted February 25, 2007 Here in NB we geocache in the snow all winter. I have never had any problems. Quote
smokingpipe Posted February 25, 2007 Posted February 25, 2007 As long as you have a clear view of the sky, snow shouldn't interfer with GPS. I cache all winter as well and have no problems with coordinates. Quote
+benjamin921 Posted February 25, 2007 Posted February 25, 2007 (edited) Never had any problems even after falling down and having the GPSr burried in the snow (DeLorme PN-20). Edited February 25, 2007 by benjamin921 Quote
