Not sure why you would want to use Plucker or if in fact you can, but a lot of cachers use Cachmate on their Palm. You can check it out at http://www.smittyware.com/palm/cachemate/

substitute GSAK for spinner. you can get rid of the plucker desktop an replace it with Sunrise xp also. works lots easer. here is a good post on it. http://forums.Groundspeak.com/GC/index.php...mp;hl=sunrisexp

Export the file from GSAK as html, by clicking on the html icon on the toolbar. It's the one that looks sort of like a world map. Note where you tell GSAK to put the files - it will go into a folder names Cache under the folder you give it. In that folder will be a file named index.html. Point Sunrise Desktop or the Plucker distiller at that file, set the depth to 3, have it stay on host, output to the folder of your choice, and to your Palm's hotsync. Run it, hotsync, and the file will be on your Palm.

all goes well till i go to put the index file into the handheld, it tries to install to the card in the palm, and won't let it go to the handheld.

Drag it to the handheld (top) part of the quick install tool. I always install it to the card anyway. It needs to go in the /Palm/Program/Plucker folder there. I don't install much to the handheld if I don't have to, other than programs I use regularly.

Plucker should be creating a PDB file for upload to your Palm. The Index file (created by GSAK and used by Plucker) is not what you upload to your PDA.
