+2202
Does anyone have a copy of OziExplorerCE prog and maybe the odd cailbrated Cape Town and its environs I could put on my PDA for our visit? Not many in UK use Ozi so small appeal to you all. If you do please email through my profile. I feel lost without a digital map on my screen and not knowing where to go first! cheers Tony Quote Link to comment
+vespax
I know you might be annoyed at this comment, but here it is. US $30 is not a lot to spend on software to use when you are spending thousands of pounds on a vacation. Oziexplorer You can download maps that are already calibrated from here. Go to raster maps/South Africa/SA50k/Western Cape to get Cape Town regional maps. Not meaning to be rude, but supporting people who make software that is useful to you is worthwhile for all. +2202
When you have got two daughters in private school in the UK, believe me, you have to scrimp and save whenever you can. This is just a one off, Clyde at GSAK gets my money so does GC. I use Fugawi here in UK with the wonderful feature that you can question the digital map and it will load up GC with all the nearest caches to where you pointed, dont think any of the rest can do that. But thanks for the link, the maps are exactly what I was after. Edited January 21, 2007 by 2202 Quote Link to comment
