Are waypoints (other than tracklogs) even stored on the card at all? Perhaps the unit was writing to the card when it was yanked. Quote Link to comment

+ThePropers
You messages says all you data is gone, but the subject says all of your waypoints are gone. That's kindof two separate things. I don't think waypoints are stored on the card, as that's internal. Make sure it's installed correctly, and you slid the slider up to lock it in place (at first, I didn't realize this slid up to lock it in place and the card would frequently "eject" itself. I guess I'm not up on my terminology. Sorry. Anyhoo, I plugged my micro chip into my computer and verified that there is no data on it. I don't think waypoints are stored on the card either. What I lost is all my waypoints (geochaches, tracks & routes) I thought I might have accidently selected reset all when trying to reset the odometer but the odo was never reset so I guess it's still a mystery.
