+TXHawgHunter
Due to major construction at a part of a puzzle cache, I need to archive the cache with info leading to the puzzle cache. I was going to just move it, but I can't find a secure location close to its original spot. How do I change the puzzle cache into a traditional cache so it can be found without need of the archived cache? This option is greyed out on the edit cache page. Quote Link to comment
+WeightMan
Your friendly reviewer will have to do that for you. That same reviewer will probably suggest you archive the puzzle cache and submit a new one for the final as a traditional cache. The reason for that is that the cache will not be the same experience as it was before. Contact the reviewer that published the cache. The name and a link to email is at the bottom of the cache page. +FamilyDNA
Also, changing the puzzle type to a traditional would change the find count on those types for anyone who's found it. It's better to archive and post a "new" cache, even if it's really the same hide, so previous finders still get credit for it as a puzzle. Quote Link to comment
+Stunod
Ditto the other replies. Submit a new cache instead of changing the cache type. Quote Link to comment
