+parker313
I have an older Lowrance - the iFinder Pro and have been extremely happy with it. I had an eXplorist 210, and have found the Lowrance to be far more user friendly. Quote Link to comment
+Indotguy
I've had a Garmin Etrex Yellow; two Magelleans (a regular Merdian and a Merdian Gold) and the past couple of years a Lowrance H20. As far as I'm concerned the Lowrance is tops. The H20 does great in the woods under a dense canopy and in my opinion the topo map software is better than Magellans. Some folk find the SD card file transfer protocol a bit of a hassle but I've grown to like it better than the cable connections the others use. The other brands have good products but if I was looking to buy a new GPS I would go with Lowrance again. My only advice? Do plenty of research before you buy and you won't have any suprises afterwards. Happy shopping! Quote Link to comment
+ICHTHYS
I'll be buying an H20c pretty soon. From my research they are just as good as a Garmin 60cx, with a few more functions. At about $120 cheaper than the Garmin, you can't go wrong. Quote Link to comment
+GPSOkie
I biased as I'm a big Lowrance fan, but I love the H2O. I have had both it and the iFinder Pro recently and love them both. Quote Link to comment
