Via Con Ardillos Posted December 30, 2006 Share Posted December 30, 2006 I got a 60CSx for xmas and it is excellent. i have a question that i am not sure if it can be answered. when i try to do a follow road navigation, it dosent start where i am, it starts of at some random point every time. what do i do to fix this, if i can. thanks for any input. I guessing you don't have any additional mapping software loaded, so it's using the basemap. The basemap only has highways and major roads, so it's starting at the nearest highway/road that's on the basemap. You'll need to get auto-routing map data, like City Navigator, to fix this. As I mentioned above, your unit is using the basemap for routing. The starting point isn't "random". It's the closest basemap road to your position. If you turn off the Topo maps, you should see this. Quote Link to comment
