+Sternenkriegerin + geo_tom
Hey, here's another feature suggestion. We don't want the folks at Groundspeak get bored, do we? Sometimes I wonder if I met a cacher somewhere or if I just read the name in the logs. So it would be nice if the website would help me, when I'm logged in and look at a cacher's profile. The website could compare the logs of that cacher with mine and print a list of the caches we logged on the same day. Like... You might have met this cacher at... - Cache A on 12/17/2006 - Cache B on ... - Event C on ... What do you think? +Sternenkriegerin + geo_tom
You mean like this? Not sure. If it's done automatically, then yes. Because the idea is that you don't have to configure it. BTW: Interesting site. Seeing icons for the last 5 log types in the cache list is a great feature, too (http://geocaching.com.au/caches/gca). +MrCOgeo
It's "automated" from the Help file: " ... "How does the system know who my friends are?!?!" Actually, it's quite simple: It's based on the number of simultaneous finds of caches by pairs of cachers. For example, if you and someone else regularly log the same caches on the same day, it assumes you are caching together and further assumes you are mates. ... " Link to comment
+StarBrand
Sounds a wee bit similar to the "social" cacher features mentioned on this forum before.... Link to comment
