+AB5PE Posted December 6, 2006 Share Posted December 6, 2006 When I first bought my 60csx while Cacheing it would give me a mark as found option when I would find a cache and would change the treasure chest icon to open I beleave. but now it just asks if I want to deleate it Have I turned something on or off on the unit ? In order to get the "found" button, the waypoint must be using whatever icon you've set as the default geocache icon, and you have to perform a go-to using the Off Road option. I use the map page to hunt the cache, but must goto the "pointer" page to be able to find the "Found It" button and mark my find. On my Garmy76CSx, it too just hit goto, then when found hit the "Found It" button. I just have LOTS more screens to play with if I wish to. We are trying to help a cacher friend who just seems to be having a problem. Both Mag. & Garmin are good units that will do ALOT of things, but both are simple to use if you want that too.
