+macatac1961
Patchogue, NY? Any kind of cache you could hope for. Drive ups, long hikes, puzzles. Pick your poison. There are some larger parks around the area also that are nicely stocked. Edited November 23, 2006 by macatac1961 Quote Link to comment
+hukilaulau
how far away are you willing to go? You can find as many as you want within a brief radius around Patchogue, but if you go a few miles further easy you can find woods, trails, ponds. Depending on what part of Texas you're from, you might like to see some water! Parks that have hosted Long Island events have lots of nice caches, start with this one or maybe this one and then look at nearby caches for a couple of good day trips. If you want to see a group of nice little ponds you can't go wrong starting hereand working your way south. There are so many good caches in this area that it might take a couple of full days to do them, maybe with a different starting point the second day. As the time gets closer contact one of us, or any of the hiders around here and we'll help you fine tune your Long Island Caching Adventure! Quote Link to comment
+TeamTurtles
It looks like toward the East would be the best direction to go. I live on Lake Texoma, so I do get to see alot of water. My wife was raised in this area but when I ask her about different cache locations, she's clueless. Quote Link to comment
