sudamar
I found a geocoin, with an ID number, but can't find out how to track it. There is a lot of info about tracking travel bugs on geocaching.com, but I can't find a thing about tracking this coin. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. +briansnat
If its trackable on this site you enter the number just as you would a travel bug. You use the travel bug page. If its trackable on another website the URL of that website should be on the coin. Quote Link to comment
+CachingCoins
Most coins track just like TB's. Go to geocaching.com, then "track travel bugs". Put the # that's on the coin in the "travel bug lookup". Click search. When the page comes up, there is a list of options on the right. You want "add a log entry". If you "retrieved" this coin from a cache, that will be the option you choose. By doing this it will not only track the coin correctly, it will also put it in your inventory. When you are ready to put it in a safe & appropriate cache, the cache page will ask you if you want to drop it there. Some coins are exceptions. They can be swag. They can be trackable at other sites. But, most want to travel. Hope this helps. Happy hunting! Quote Link to comment
