Not pubs but caches

We were coming home from caching yesterday when Bob tried to describe an area to me. I did not know

where he meant until he said, you know....where Mr Beans cache is. I instantly knew where he meant then.

In our precaching days he would have named a pub in the area to jog my memory...now its geocaches!

Does anyone else use cache names to describe the general area? I know a few that do..pup for 1 lol

Guilty

I do it all the time, and my non caching sister gets really annoyed...

Last week she was going to Bristol for a meeting, and I was trying to tell her where she should stop for breakfast...

I ended up lending her my tom tom with a specific cache marked on it, coz is was dead close to an amazing cafe I'd visited whilst caching....

She said it was the closest she'll ever get to caching!!!

I think this is a good thing , as there are more Caches than pubs. i am amused when non caching friends try to describe directions useing caches to me, this makes me realise how much i must talk about caching to them. Always on the look out for a convert (6 so far).
