+Cache Liberation Front
Hi all, I'm still learning how to fully utilize the POI uploader and mem card on my 60CSx, so please bear with me. I used GSAK to upload my "Not Found" caches to the Garmin. Piece of cake. I used the POI loader to upload my "Found" caches to the Garmin. Piece of cake. Now, when I boot up my Garmin, I see the "Not Found" caches, as expected. Is there a way to ALSO have my "Custom POIs" I just uploaded auto-displayed on the map screen? Thanks a bunch, MrW. +hurley_108
Well the POIs and the unfound caches through GSAK will never be displayed in the same way as they're loaded differently. The POIs will be displayed on the map screen, as little grey circles unless you've made a custom icon for them. To display their info you have to turn off waypoints on the map. This is something Garmin broke in version 2.70 or so and have yet to fix. Quote Link to comment

Has Garmin fixed the problem of scrolling the pointer over a custom POI and being able to see its name the way you can with regular POI's? Is there a setting I can change so that it will do that? I have 3 sets of custom poi's assigned to 3 custom icons and I got that all working but it would be nice to be able to get the name to show up when I scroll over it. D Quote Link to comment
