+Tortoiseshell
Hi - I have found several caches in my locality in my first weeks as a geocacher. I own two caches close to home. I am already starting a bit of a fondness for finding trackables. My question is: is it acceptable to go to a cache I've already found in order to grab travelbugs and geocoins? I own two caches close to home. What if a nice geocoin appears in one of my own caches? Can I grab it in order to log it on my 'trackables' list and then move it on to another cache? Or, is it considered bad form to revisit caches? thanks, Tortoiseshell Quote Link to comment
+BlueDeuce
Revisiting a cache including your own is perfectly fine. Just log it as a note not a (another) find. Even better if you can assist a bug towards it's goal . Quote Link to comment
+hukilaulau
Yes! It is fine to go to your own cache or one you've already found to pick up a TB. Travelbugs can become a game within the game. In fact, you coud have fun moving TB's from one cache to another without ever finding another cache for the first time! Quote Link to comment
+Cedar Grove Seekers
I agree, go ahead and grab coins or TBs from previously found caches, or your own caches. If we see a new coin, we sometimes leave it in the cache, but merely log it as "Discovered" - you still get the icon and Trackable count. Quote Link to comment
