BWBlackett
I have an idea for a series of caches - basically the 1st will be 1 mile east of an object, the 2nd will be 2 miles east, the 3rd 3 miles east etc etc The idea being that you can see the object from the cache location in every case. I can get up to 12 miles on a good day! My question is should I set up each cache individually giving the locations of each (this would allow you to possibly do the whole series in a single trip) Or should I make it that cache 1 has some of the coordinates for cache 2 and cache 2 has some of the coordinates for cache 3 etc etc (this means that unless you were carrying the appropriate maps you wouldn't 'easily' be able to do it in 1 trip) What do people think ? +CrazyL200
Sounds like a good excuse for a multi series, with a puzzle final. Quote Link to comment
+sssss
you do what ever you prefer, you will never please everyone, some like multis some prefer a series of individual caches with a final bonus. you should do the sort of caches you prefer and would like to do yourself if you were the cacher as opposed to cache setter. +Haggis Hunter
You should do what you want. However if one cache goes missing along the route then the searcher would have to stop until it was sorted. Where as if you have a list of regulars with clues to the final, if one went missing the others could be completed and the searcher could come back for that one once it has been sorted. I hope that makes sense?? Quote Link to comment
