Unannounced website changes?

The site just logged me out and when I came back weird things started happening. The "log a cache" button (and many other buttons) seem to have vanished (or maybe they're hidden in submenus?). And now I'm getting all kinds of errors where the site seems to be trying to load some google.com web page??? Any clues?

Try rebooting your computer. Everything is working fine for me here. Tested in both IE and Firefox.

Everything appears to be functioning normally for me, too.

It would be highly unusual for there to be a site upgrade over the weekend. Historically new code releases have launched during the week so that the troubleshooting of any bugs can be done during normal working hours.

 

On the other hand, we do know that there is a pending upgrade, for which the final tweaking and testing is a few days behind schedule. Looking forward to seeing the next round of improvements!

I've also recieved a handfull of 'image error' messages while using google map. They errors appear at the bottom of the screen randomly, but google earth still seems to be working correctly. You can close the error report window and all seems fine.

Unless there is a serious issue that needs resolved, we only try and do upgrades between Tuesday-Thursday so we're available if bugs occur. We plan on an upgrade this Tuesday or Wednesday but haven't made changes in the last couple of weeks.
